Following the Organic Milky Way

What are the benefits of organic milk?

Organic dairy farms have 5 times as many plants, and 57 more plant species than non-organic farms, which is why organic farming is recognised by bodies such as English Nature for helping Britain's  biodiversity recovery.  Birds and wildlife also thrive on organic farms, and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds confirms that organic systems benefit the environment.

An average person drinks half a pint of milk a day, so each family of four that goes organic supports 1200 square metres of the environment in organic production, helping to save Britain's wildlife for the future.

Choosing organic milk is not only good for the countryside and the environment - buying organic milk will help minimise exposure to unwanted pesticide and antibiotic residues, which is particularly important for small children.
