Anyone for a French Breakfast?

The Hungry Gap is intensifying as the local root crops which have sustained us over the colder months have now almost all finished, but we have early crops of local & home-grown salads to supplement the tasty but more expensive imported produce

However we wouldn't want to give you the impression that the vegeboxes are not still excellent value for money - here is a vegebox that was delivered to a customer on 7 May:

Where else could you buy such a fantastic selection of organic veg for just £3? Yes, three quid!

This £3 vegebox includes aubergine, yellow pepper, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower and a bunch of French Breakfasts (radishes!)

What’s Growing this month?

In the polytunnels the radishes have nearly all been picked, and we hope you enjoyed them.  In the beds they have vacated, we are planting out cucumbers and chillis.  Tunnel 4 is still to be re-covered

In the herb garden we’ve got parsley, chives, mint, sage, lovage, bronze fennel, marjoram, basil and coriander

Look out for them all in our Herb Selection bags, or just choose a pack of your favourite!
