Summer Spuds!

First Pink Fir Apple potatoes of 2008!Hurry - English new potatoes are here, and very tasty too!  Maris Peer

However don't get too excited at the prospect of Pink Fir Apple (pictured left) as although we've just lifted a small quantity out of curiosity, they're really a maincrop variety, and we wouldn't normally lift them until October

What's local or home-grown in June?

  • Broad beans
  • Bunched onions
  • Spring greens
  • Summer cabbage
  • Herbs
  • Salad leaf
  • Lettuce
  • Living Salad
  • Cucumber

Other UK produce available:

  • Beansprouts
  • Cabbage white & red
  • Cauliflower
  • Leeks
  • Tomatoes, cherry, plum, round, all both on and off the vine
  • Mushrooms
  • Watercress
