Price Lists

Our weekly Pick of the Crop price list tells you what fruit & veg is going to be available the following week, how much it costs, and the country in which it was grown (plus we point out if it is locally-grown and especially our own!)

The list changes every week reflecting what is in season, but always includes our range of vegeboxes and our main groceries.

You can order a specific weight or a count of any item, either as well as, or instead of, your vegebox.

Every Thursday we update this website and email existing customers with the following week's price list.  You can then fill in your order and email the list back to us.

We recommend you use our SPREADSHEET version, as it has clever features such as hiding blank lines to save paper when we print it out, but you need a spreadsheet program such as Excel or OpenOffice on your PC

Otherwise if you don't have a spreadsheet program,  you can use our PDF version, which just needs Adobe Reader (or similar) to open, but it can only be viewed or printed by a PC, not edited

[Our least sophisticated version of the price list only requires a WORD-PROCESSOR - you can type your order into it and email the list back to us, but otherwise it's very basic]

Your 'Pick of the Crop' order must be placed in advance, but then it can either be collected from Tuesday afternoon onwards, or delivered on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on where you live.

Delivery Charges

If you live locally, our minimum order is only £5 for free delivery.  Local villages include Bickerton, Bilton-in-Ainsty, Boston Spa, Cattal, Clifford, Cowthorpe, Green Hammerton, Hunsingore, Kirk Hammerton, Long Marston, Rufforth & Tockwith.

Elsewhere, if your fruit & veg order exceeds £15 (or £30 including Groceries) and you are within our delivery area (broadly-speaking Yorkshire), we will deliver direct to your address.   However we charge extra (£3 or £5) for delivery to areas more than 20 miles away or not on an existing delivery run.

Free delivery areas for £15 orders include Harrogate, Leeds & York.  If your order is less than £15 of fruit & veg we can refer you to a coordinator.

If there is an extra charge we will tell you when you order.

How to complete the spreadsheet order form

  • Open the spreadsheet, and if prompted, enable the macros (these provide extra features such as working out the total value of your order).  [Your computer may give a standard warning that enabling macros can harbour viruses, but our price list is regularly virus-checked, and it is safe to open.]
  • Save to a different location on your computer if you need to retain a copy of the file
  • Ensure you enter a quantity into the “Enter Quantity Required” box for each line you wish to order
  • Email back to us as a file attachment
  • You can also access these instructions inside the spreadsheet by placing the mouse over the orange cell below the pumpkin:

    DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS

Please enter your name in the green box at the top of the spreadsheet, and then the quantity of each line required into column E marked “Enter quantity required”.  This must be a number.  Enter e.g. 250g as 0.25.

Items are sold by weight (kg), outers (x), or pieces (#).  For items priced by the kilo, you may specify either the weight or the number of pieces that you require, and entering the appropriate symbol (kg, x or #) into column F.  Please note that the prices for full outers are approximately 10% cheaper.

The price gives you a rough indication of the value of the order.  It will not be 100% accurate as it is subject to availability, exact weight of produce ordered, discounts, and delivery costs.  You will also find that there may be a big difference if you order a lot of your fruit and veg as pieces (#).  This is because the price is calculated using a standard weight for each line, and weights differ from week to week.

If you order by weight (kg), we will normally aim to ensure that this is your minimum requirement, so that the actual weight invoiced may be higher than the weight ordered.

We must receive your order at the latest by 8am two days prior to the date of delivery (but the earlier you order, the less chance of items being sold out). Milk must be ordered by 2pm Friday.

If you are sending your order back by email we prefer it to be as a file attachment rather than sending it to us directly from the spreadsheet. This can be done by selecting "Send to" from the File menu, and choosing the option "Send to mail recipient as attachment".

If you are sending your order by post or fax, please click on the 'Print Setup' button to reduce the amount of paper to be printed. This can be reversed at any time with the 'Undo Print Setup' option.
